REGULATIONS

  • The director/person in charge of the studio will be asked to come to our service module for any  questions to be answered at the discretion of the REVOLT STAFF.

  • NEW THIS YEAR: Most of our cities sell out before the registration deadline. In an effort to plan our events more efficiently, we have implemented a $1,000 MXN deposit per routine. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another city/event. For Studio registrations, if a routine is removed before the 30-day deadline, the deposit can be applied to the remaining balance for that city/event only. Please understand this is being implemented to help give opportunities to the most amount of dancers at each event and to prevent last-minute cancellations.

  • Participants 15 years of age or younger must be accompanied by their teacher, principal or responsible adult at all times.

  • The deadline to make changes is 10 days before the event.

  • There is no limit to register a maximum of choreographies.

  • In the situation that a dancer participates with more than one solo and obtains a score within the first 3 places, only the one with the highest score will be awarded.

  • The early bird payment expires 30 days before the event and it will only be taken into account with the payment and registration fully made before the deadline.

  • Competition payments can be refundable only up to 45 days before the event.

  • Competition payments can be transferable up to 15 days before the event.

  • The judges have the right to request a routine to be repeated if extra time to evaluate is required

  • If there are any technical failures on REVOLT'S behalf, the competing studio, can choose to continue or redo the number. If the failure comes from the participants, the performance must continue or withdraw.

  • Please note that competition times can be flexible and may be approximately 30-45 minutes ahead or behind schedule.

  • Participants must be ready one hour before their scheduled time to compete at the venue.

  • REVOLT is not responsible for theft or loss of personal items, props, scenery, costumes, etc.

  • Competition schedules will be mailed to all the dance studios and/or competition participants 3- 7 days prior to the event.

  • If any participant believes they need a first aid service, we will have a paramedic for low-risk emergencies on site. However, REVOLT will not be responsible for injuries that occur at the event.

  • Registered participants and studios must complete and sign the REVOLT release form in order to attend. By signing this release form, participants accept the potential risks/injuries of dance and their responsibility for all medical expenses in case of an accident.
