REGULATIONS

Director/Person in Charge Attendance:

The director or person in charge of the studio is requested to come to our registration module to address any questions, at the discretion of the REVOLT STAFF.

NEW THIS YEAR - Registration Deposit:

In an effort to enhance event planning, we have introduced a $1,000 MXN deposit per routine. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another city or event. For Studio registrations, only if a routine is removed before the 60-day deadline, the deposit can be applied to the remaining balance for that city or event only. This change aims to provide more opportunities to dancers at each event and prevent last-minute cancellations.

Early Bird Payment:

The early bird payment expires 30 days before the event and will only be considered if both payment and registration are fully completed before the deadline.

NEW THIS YEAR - Waiting List and Registration Balance:

Everyone at REVOLT is highly valued. Due to previous sell-outs, please be aware that if a waiting list is

established for your city, we will contact you. To secure your registration, the remaining balance must be paid within a week of notice. Please consider this for your convenience.

Accompanied Minors:

Participants aged 15 years or younger must be accompanied by their teacher, principal, or a responsible adult at all times.

Change Deadline:

Changes in your routine registration can only be made up to 10 days before the event.

Number of Choreographies:

There is no limit to the number of choreographies you can register.

Multiple Solos Scoring:

If a dancer participates with more than one solo and obtains a score within the top three places, only the solo with the highest score will be awarded.

Refund & Transfer Policy:

Competition payments can be refunded up to 60 days before the event and are transferable up to 15 days before the event.

Routine Reevaluation:

Judges have the authority to request a routine to be repeated if extra time for evaluation is needed.

Technical Failures:

If there are technical failures on REVOLT's part, the competing studio can choose to continue or redo the number. If the failure is due to the participants, the performance must continue or be withdrawn.

Flexible Competition Times:

Please note that competition times may be flexible and may run approximately 30-50 minutes ahead or behind schedule.

Participant Arrival Time:

Participants must be ready one hour before their scheduled competition time at the venue. If the routine is called within this time and the participant is not available, the routine will be scratched off and not be able to compete.

Competition Schedules:

Will be mailed to all the dance studios and/or competition participants 3-7 days prior to the event.

Personal Items:

REVOLT is not responsible for theft or loss of personal items, props, scenery, costumes, etc.

Liability Forms:

Studios will be asked to sign the liability and release form on behalf of their participants. By signing this release form, participants, their families, the studio owners, directors, and staff accept potential dance-related risks and responsibility for all medical expenses in case of an accident.

Faculty:

If the teachers and/or choreographers are unable to come to the city, it would be due to personal or health reasons. In Revolt, we do not take responsibility for changes made by the faculty, but we are committed to ensuring that we will provide a specified number for each city.

Rules & Regulations:

REVOLT reserves the right to change all rules and regulations at any time without notice. Any questions that arise will be resolved at the discretion of the REVOLT Director.
