RULES

& Regulations

  • The studio director or designated point person must use the registration platform for all inquiries. All questions will be answered at the discretion of the REVOLT staff.

  • Ages are determined as of January 1, 2026. REVOLT reserves the right to combine or separate levels based on the number of students registered at each venue.

  • Registration Deposit:
To ensure fairness and facilitate better planning, a $2,000 MXN deposit per routine is required. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another city or event.

    Exception for Regionals:
For studio registrations, if a routine is removed before the 60-day deadline, the deposit may be applied toward the remaining balance for that same event only.

    Early Bird Payment:
Early bird pricing is available until 60 days prior to the event. Both registration and full payment must be completed before this deadline in order to qualify.

    REVOLT World Nationals:
For REVOLT World Nationals, the deposit per choreography is $3,000 MXN. If a routine is removed after the 45-day deadline, the deposit is non-refundable & non-transferable.

Early Bird – REVOLT World Nationals:
Early bird pricing for REVOLT World Nationals is available up to 45 days prior to the event. Both registration and full payment must be completed before this deadline to qualify.

Our prices do not include VAT.

  • Given that payments are made in Mexican pesos, prices and fees may be subject to change in the event of a significant devaluation.

  • Competitions
Payments for competition routines are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another routine in the same city up to 60 days before the event.

    Intensives

Transfers are allowed up to 30 days before the event.

  • Change Deadline
Changes to registered routines are allowed up to 15 days before the event.

    Number of Routines
There is no limit to the number of routines you can register to compete.

    Multiple Solo Scoring
If a dancer competes with multiple solos and earns more than one top 3 score, only the highest scoring solo will be awarded.

    Routine Reevaluation
Judges may request a routine to be repeated if they require more time to evaluate.

  • If technical issues are caused by the venue, the studio may choose to redo or continue the performance.

If issues are caused by a participant or group, the routine must either proceed as-is or be withdrawn.

  • Schedules will be sent 3–7 days before the event to all studios or individual participants.

Participants must be ready to perform at least one hour before their scheduled time.

Routines not ready when called will be scratched and not rescheduled.

Competition times may run 30–60 minutes ahead or behind schedule.

  • All dancers 15 years or younger must be accompanied by a teacher, director, or responsible adult at all times.

Due to the number of attendees, REVOLT cannot be held responsible for any unaccompanied minor, inside or outside the venue.

  • Liability Release
All studios must sign a liability and release form. By attending REVOLT events, participants (and their families, studio owners, directors, and staff) acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with dance-related activities. They assume full responsibility for any injuries or accidents during the event.

    Medical Coverage
Participants are responsible for securing their own medical insurance. REVOLT and its affiliates are not liable for any medical expenses.

    Behavior & Conduct
Directors and teachers are responsible for the behavior and safety of their dancers, assistants, and parents.
Disrespectful or disruptive behavior will result in suspension from the event.
Dancers compromising safety or harmony will not be allowed to participate.

    Property Damage
Participants are responsible for any damage caused to the venue or equipment.

    Personal Belongings
REVOLT, the venue, and the hotel are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please store your belongings against the walls or under chairs to avoid accidents.

    Photography & Videography Consent

By participating, dancers and guardians grant REVOLT permission to be photographed and filmed. These materials may be used for promotional purposes, including social media, advertising, and marketing.

    Medical Information

Studios or participants must provide emergency contact information and notify the event team of any relevant medical conditions in advance.

  • Faculty may vary by city. REVOLT is not responsible for changes due to personal or health reasons.
Substitutes may be assigned and will be equally qualified professionals.

  • Faculty feedback, whether written, video, and/or audio critiques, will be available on our website through your private account within 5–7 days after the event. (Art is subjective, and all feedback reflects the professional perspective of our experienced faculty.)

  • International Program Scholarships
These scholarships are sponsored by REVOLT. To redeem, recipients must contact us directly to begin the process.

    Use of Scholarships
Scholarships can only be used at the same studio where they were awarded.
If a dancer changes studios, the scholarship becomes invalid.

  • By participating in REVOLT, all dancers, studios, and attendees agree to fully comply with all rules and regulations.

Failure to do so may result in disqualification or removal from the event.

  • REVOLT reserves the right to update these rules and regulations at any time without prior notice.

All final decisions are made at the discretion of the REVOLT Director.
