Celebrating Every Dancer at Their Own Level!

New Scoring System

This year, we are proud to introduce our new scoring system, designed with every participant in mind. Our goal is simple: to recognize dedication, support dance studios, and give every dancer a fair chance to shine.

Scores now reflect training hours and experience, giving dancers with more years of preparation the opportunity to achieve higher scores. As always, this system reduces pressure by ensuring dancers only compete against others at the same level: beginners with beginners, intermediates with intermediates, and elite with elite.

This approach also supports studio growth. Studio directors can confidently motivate their students to keep training, knowing that every dancer has a clear path to progress and reach their best possible score. REVOLT’s mission has always been to empower dance studios and inspire every student.

Earning a REVOLT Standout as a beginner will naturally be more challenging, since experience is just beginning, but that’s exactly what makes it so special and rewarding. This system creates a fairer, more inspiring experience for everyone, allowing each dancer to shine in their own category, celebrate their progress, and feel proud of their journey.

AWARDS BY PERFORMANCE DIVISION

Each participating routine will receive an award according to the following scores:

BEGINNER

1st, 2nd, 3rd

INTERMEDIATE

1st, 2nd, 3rd

ELITE

1st, 2nd, 3rd

In the solo division the 10 highest scores of the competition will be awarded.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

In any level, category, or performance division, even if there is no competition, routines are still assessed based on adjudication scores to determine 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Therefore, even if a routine is the only one in its category, it still needs to meet the required score to obtain its placement. This means that your choreography will not automatically receive a 1st place if it is the only routine in its category.
